Choose models by billing mode

Copy the exact model ID from the subscription model list or pay-as-you-go channels, and check that your client protocol supports it. The model catalogue labels each model’s billing mode.

Monthly subscription
Use a subscription key; supported models share your plan quota. The subscription model list is synchronized with GET /v1/models.
Pay-as-you-go API
Use an API billing key and separate balance, billed at the selected channel’s prices. Check the channel catalogue for models, pricing and supported protocols.
Model names, protocol compatibility and billing mode are separate settings. Copy the request ID rather than a display name, and do not assume that every model is included in your subscription because a client supports the OpenAI protocol.
